It's just plain wrong that the Church is in decline precisely when the world needs it most.

With support from Divine Renovation, priests and parishes have found new hope and are seeing new life in their parishes: people are coming to know Jesus and are becoming new disciples.

Divine Renovation is a Catholic ministry dedicated to parish renewal.

We accompany priests and lay leaders who desire to see their parish come alive by providing them with the tools and coaching they need to lead their parish from maintenance to mission.

We believe that in order to thrive, a parish must fully embrace its missionary identity.

Instead of managing decline and maintaining the methods and practices that were best suited for a time in the Church’s life that has since passed, parishes must live a culture of mission and evangelization.

Our mission: To inspire, connect, and equip parishes to be missional, and through them bring people to Jesus.

"I dream of a missionary option...

“…that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelization of today’s world rather than for her self-preservation.”

Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium

Through coaching, events, and resources, we are equipping priests and lay leaders for the work of mission.

Coaching

Through group and 1:1 coaching, priests are equipped with leadership skills that build on the graces God has given them in their priestly vocation.

Coaching unpacks Divine Renovation’s principles of parish renewal and helps priests apply them in their unique parish context.

Events

Parish renewal is challenging. That’s why we create opportunities where parish leaders can be inspired, connected, and equipped for the work of mission: both in-person and online.

Resources

We produce resources that help priests and lay leaders in the work of parish renewal such as videos, podcasts, study guides, and books.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you; and behold I am always with you to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:19-20

The Three Keys to Parish Renewal

Divine Renovation is not a program or a specific set of things to implement. Rather, it’s about three principles or keys that catalyze renewal in a parish.

The Power of the Holy Spirit

Parish renewal is God’s work. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, transformative renewal happens and parishes come to life.

By drenching our work in prayer, we acknowledge that it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that the work of mission, evangelization, and parish renewal bears fruit.

The Primacy of Evangelization

The Church exists to evangelize. Your parish exists to evangelize.

When evangelization is the focus and people encounter Jesus, parishes grow.

The Best of Leadership

When parish leaders serve out of the best leadership principles, parishes thrive.

This includes casting vision, forming and leading an effective team, having a strong apprenticeship culture, and a focus on servant leadership.

If it’s important for a company that sells sneakers to have the best of leadership, how much more important is it for priests — who shepherd people to God and deal with questions of the eternal?
